To close out the special traveling exhibit, “American Revolution Experience,” the site is offering this illustrated talk about some of the strong and resilient women (and girls) from Vermont’s southern Lake Champlain area during the Revolutionary War. How did the war interrupt their lives? What were their contributions leading to settlement and as founders of their new towns and the new nation? Site administrator Elsa Gilbertson is the speaker.
