Master Bedroom or “Justin’s Room”: The bed and the two marble top dressers
came from the Washington, DC house and are in the Renaissance Revival style. The furniture was purchased from Daniels, Harrison & Company of Boston. From this room there is a good view of the ornamental lawn and flower beds. The ceiling in the room was replaced early in this century and the wall paper dates from the Elizabeth Sullivan period, circa 1940. The room would have been heated by a wood stove; the thimble hole for the chimney can be seen on the wall to the left of the bed. The closet/dressing room has a window with a wooden decorative screen.
